Introducing the Bansuri Funk. A sound stylized by the fusion of Funk, Jazz and Rock with a spicy hint of Worldly Pleasures, the latter being a reference to the blazing performance on the traditional Bansuri by acclaimed flautist Ravichandra Kulur. The music on this eponymous debut by Ravichandra Kulur, Duke Purisima and Arun Shenoy under the moniker Soul’d introduced the Bansuri Funk music to the world.

The band is made up of 3 people:

• Ravi – flute
• Duke – Bass
• Arun – Guitar

Ravi and Duke are the 2 pillars of the band. So their instruments have been incorporated artistically into the logo as follows:

• The 6 holes on the left for the “S” to represent the flute
• The apostrophe on the right side that has been represented as 4 lines to indicate the 4 lines of the bass guitar. The 4 lines need to be graduated in thickness to resemble the 4 strings of the bass that have increasing thickness.
